Information and Communications Technology Services

The Vendor is required to provide information and communications technology (“ICT”) services to corporation.
- Centre, data services must be designed to support daily operations and must be scalable to provide robust, reliable services for event operations.
- We require a secure, high-performance wide-area network (WAN) that seamlessly connects the Centre and the corporate offices located within the Centre. 
- The network must be capable of supporting dynamic, large-scale events and accommodating a high volume of concurrent users.
- Bandwidth: A minimum dedicated bandwidth of 10 Gbps (symmetrical upload/download) between the two sites to support real-time communications, large file transfers, centralized services, and high-volume event traffic.
- Redundancy & Reliability: The WAN solution must include redundant paths or failover capabilities to ensure continuous connectivity in the event of a hardware or service failure. Proposals should detail up-time guarantees and failover mechanisms. The solution must ensure high availability, scalability, and robust security protocols.
- Mobile Services Requirements:
•    Events east requires a mobile service provider offering state-wide calling, texting, and data plans.
•    Each plan must include a minimum of 5GB of data per user pooled, with automatic international roaming options for staff traveling abroad on business.
•    The mobile service must be reliable and scalable to support operational needs across all locations.
- The external connection should also be redundant, and high availability.
•    10 GB dedicated connection to bridge network locations
•    Dark fiber is the preferred solution, with leased lines being acceptable so long as inter-site bandwidth is guaranteed (no shared lines)
•    If a proponent managed WAN solution is proposed, there must be monitoring and alerts in place for critical problems, such as network outages
- Some typical internet services demand scenarios include:
•    Conference for 1500 attendees requiring custom LAN configuration, dedicated network bandwidth expectations, dedicated streaming for data and presentations, VoIP telephony.
•    Consumer trade show offering wireless LAN for attendees, charged wireless LAN for exhibitors, dedicated LAN bandwidth for some exhibitors, exhibitor phone lines.
•    World class events requiring international broadcast feed from events over dedicated fiber circuit, streaming live HD content.
•    Public trade show with up to 10,000 concurrent wireless connections
•    Day to day corporate and operational staff LAN and WLAN requirements
- Network Design
•    Develop a detailed LAN and WLAN architecture based on current and projected capacity, performance, and security requirements.
•    Produce logical and physical network diagrams, including switch blocks, wireless coverage plans, redundancy models, and uplink topology.
•    Validate existing fiber and copper pathways for suitability, bandwidth, and continuity.
•    Define VLAN structure, IP addressing, segmentation strategy, and identity‑based access controls.
•    Document all design decisions, standards, and configuration baselines.
