The Vendor is required to provide to develop professional development (PD), develop a PD sustainability plan, and develop training materials for Special Education Services (SES) leaders and staff to enable successful implementation of the regional support model beginning June 2026.
- Project Management
• Establish project timeline and milestones to measure and report progress to the Assistant Superintendent for SES.
• Develop cadence of meetings for project management (SES leadership).
• Establish regular design and feedback sessions to inform training material scope and sequence, curriculum coherence, and audience needs including using SES specific practices, language and norms (using SES technical expertise).
• Reflect agency practices and processes, compliance requirements, and policy direction for improving outcomes for students with disabilities.
• Use talent mapping and known areas of expertise of SES staff as identified in the emergent skills matrix to
• Leverage expertise in co-design of training materials and sessions, and
• Center the in-house expertise across SES staff in training and materials.
• Develop a training plan and coordinate the organization of existing agency curriculum assets to facilitate the development of the training materials (see Training section).
• Review and ensure compliance with federal direction and findings of disproportionality related to Coordinated Early Intervention Services (CEIS).
