The vendor is required to provide to hire consulting resources to support the development and facilitation of the agency strategic plan.
- The faculty has a goal to develop and launch a new strategic plan early in 2026 (the current plan expires at the end of 2025).
- The successful proponent will work closely with the dean and senior director of operations to guide the development of the agency 10-year strategic plan and framework.
- Project requirements and deliverables
• Work with the broader agency leadership team to check, review and present findings, guide conversations, and develop the framework, tools and tactics that helps the group work toward the future of the faculty within western, country.
• Facilitate stakeholder sessions focusing on key themes of the strategic plan both with internal and external partners (estimated 10 – 12 sessions) working toward the outcome of a new strategic planning framework including strategic goals, objectives and tactics to achieve.
- As part of this process, the consultants will be expected to:
• Synthesize input and data to inform the assessment of the core strategic planning framework items including mission, vision and value statements
• Align the agency strategic planning framework to the western @ 150 strategic plan
• Understand the external environment in higher education to challenge the leadership team and other planning groups in the development of the strategic plan
• Help guide and inform the communication and engagement strategy that is part of the planning process
• Provide training, if required, to implement new processes or solutions as part of overall strategy.
- This process will also include:
• The development of reports, findings and synthesis documents from planning and engagement sessions
• The development of an interim and final strategic planning report and framework.
- Budget: $50,000 plus HST.
