The vendor is required to provide the right to sell, coordinate, affix and maintain advertising utilizing arena surfaces designated by the city as eligible for the placement of advertising and includes, arena boards, internal wall surfaces, stair risers, arena glass, floors, internal doors, ice resurfacing machines, framed posters, and ice surfaces.
1. Sales strategy and revenue generation
• Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to maximize advertising revenue across all available arena inventory (e.g., rink boards, posters, etc.)
• Meet or exceed annual revenue targets.
2. Inventory management
• Create and maintain an up-to-date inventory list of all available assets.
• Coordinate availability and suitability of advertising locations.
• Propose new opportunities or formats for monetization, where applicable.
3. Client relationship management
• Prospect and secure advertisers that align with the city of advertising policy.
• Manage all aspects of client relationships, including contracts, renewals, and service delivery.
• Ensure proper approvals of advertisers and placements, as needed.
4. Creative coordination & production oversight
• Work with clients to obtain or develop creative assets that meet technical specifications and branding standards.
• Coordinate the production and installation of advertising in a timely manner.
• Ensure all installations meet safety regulations and city guidelines.
5. Reporting
• Provide quarterly reporting, including:
o Sales activity and status of inventory
o Revenue generated (gross and net)
o Advertiser list and contract status
• Annual summary reports, with performance highlights and recommendations.
6. Performance tracking and optimization
• Evaluate campaign performance and optimize placements to increase value for advertisers and the city.
• Provide proof-of-performance documentation (photos, etc.) for all advertisers.
7. Client servicing and issue resolution
• Act as the main point of contact with advertisers on behalf of the city.
• Promptly address and resolve client concerns or issues.
