The vendor is required to provide destination marketing services that will enable the city to:
• Position city as a premier travel destination;
• Highlight city unique selling points, in a way that sets us apart from other destinations and bring a fresh, innovative perspective to our marketing effort;
• Increase visitation and grow the local tourism economy; and
• Elevate and change the perception of city. - Rebranding: brand identity, management, and evolution
• Develop and refine a distinct, emotionally resonant brand identity that positions city as a premier travel destination.
• Create compelling messaging and narratives that highlight city unique selling points, such as its world class attractions, four-season outdoor experiences, culture, and culinary scene
• Conduct brand audits and market research to ensure city brand remains competitive and relevant in market.
• Craft a brand strategy that connects with diverse audiences, including family travelers, outdoor enthusiasts, and business travelers. it is also important that the brand strategy resonates with the community; that the community is proud of and actively supports as ambassadors
• Develop brand guidelines, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints—digital, print, social media, and experiential.
• Implement strategies to elevate and change the perception of city.
- Brand launch: marketing campaign management and support
• Generate innovative, high-impact creative concepts that align with city brand identity and marketing goals.
• Design and produce a wide range of creative assets, including advertisements, brochures, website content, and experiential activations.
• Create visually compelling digital, print, and out-of-home campaigns that engage audiences and drive demand for city tourism.
• Develop creative assets optimized for various digital platforms, ensuring adaptability for mobile, social media, and web experiences.
• Provide ongoing creative direction for the development of new campaigns, ensuring brand consistency and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with city teams to ensure creative strategies are aligned with sales, business development, and media objectives.
• Offer art direction and management for all creative production, including photo and video shoots, ensuring city natural beauty, cultural heritage and diverse communities are authentically and well represented.
• Provide media management services
- Ongoing marketing services
• Creative services - responsive creative services, solutions and support to meet the needs of sales and business development teams within the city, including custom presentations and sales materials.
• Media management - planning, buying, monitoring and analysis.
• Develop creative assets for emerging opportunities, special promotions, or partnerships as they arise in an efficient manner.
• Support the development of branded content for trade shows, presentations, and business-to-business marketing efforts.
• Collaborate on creative strategies that support city growth in new markets, leveraging data and insights to inform the approach.
- Media management
• Assist in planning, managing the media buying services, and monitoring and reporting on campaign results in our target markets for integrated marketing and advertising communications, including but not limited to print, broadcast, digital and social, out-of-home, etc., and other experiential media opportunities. for example:
• Print:
o Newspaper, magazine, or tother print ads
• Broadcast:
o New networks
o Radio
• Digital and social:
o Search engine (i.e., google) ad management
o Social media (i.e., Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube) ad management
o Digital ad management with partner organizations
• Out-of-home:
o Billboards.
