- Ability to attract, retain, and expand foreign direct investment by providing clear, data-informed, and investment-ready profiles and promotional tools.
- These materials will be used to inform international marketing efforts, guide outreach strategies, and support investment facilitation conversations with prospective investors and partners.
1. Flagstaff region foreign direct investment (FDI) investment marketing package
• A cohesive, professionally branded set of marketing materials suitable for both digital and print use, with fully editable source files provided.
• Canva is the preferred platform for all editable files to ensure ease of updates, reduced design costs over time, and long-term usability by county staff.
• This package will serve as an updated version of the county’s current investment guide and must include:
o An overview of the flagstaff region b) a comprehensive community profile
o Sector-specific inserts for agriculture (corporate and value-added) and energy
o Bonus: additional inserts for other priority sectors identified in the FDI strategy (hospitality and healthcare)
2. Sector-specific investment opportunity profiles
• Investment-ready business prospectus profiles tailored to distinct sectors or subsectors.
• Profiles should identify viable opportunities based on county’s existing assets, market trends, and FDI strategy.
• Each profile should clearly outline the investment opportunity, associated benefits, local context and next steps for interested investors.
3. Distribution strategy summary
• A high-level plan outlining how the materials can be effectively used in outreach, online platforms, and partnership channels.
• The strategy should consider international markets and recommend formats or tactics to increase engagement.
4. Tailored marketing tools
• Based on the distribution strategy, the consultant will be asked to develop 3-4 supporting pieces such as, but not limited to, a one-page elevator pitch or customized content for trade shows, meetings, or web landing pages.
• These materials should align with the broader marketing package and be designed for flexibility across platforms.
5. Editable source files
• All materials must be provided in fully editable formats, with Canva as the preferred format. alternative editable formats (e.g., word, InDesign, PowerPoint) may also be provided as needed, in addition to final print-ready and digital versions.
• This will ensure that flagstaff county can make ongoing updates and extend the lifespan of the materials as new opportunities and data emerge.
