The vendor is required to provide feasibility study will recommend the most appropriate strategy for developing marketable rental apartments in underutilized parts of the building while continuing and perhaps supplementing current nonresidential uses.
• Explanation of the study purpose
• Proposed development program (may set forth several alternative programs and recommend one)
• Estimate of probable cost to implement, discussion of financing scenarios
• Study population growth and demographic trends.
• Analyze the supply and demand for housing in the area. examine rental and property sale trends.
• Identify target customers (families, students, retirees, etc.) and any other background information supplied by the town.
• Meet at least twice with the town’s appointed officials and the owners to discuss the opportunities and constraints, and receive input on objectives and desires for the building’s development.
• Recommend course of action.
• Compile the above information into a final feasibility report to present to the town and owners.
