• Compile data and submittal.
• Quality control (instrument and equipment calibration).
• Verify control datum with GPS VRS.
b. Data collection and field checks per one (1) bridge on a bridge replacement type project:

• Compile data and submittal.
• Quality control (instrument and equipment calibration).
• Verify control datum with GPS VRS.
c. Data collection and field checks per one intersection on an intersection upgrade type project:
• Existing control recon and validation. (Occupy and perform azimuth and distance checks on a minimum of 1 control deltas or 20% of total project control).
• TBM leveling (turn through previously occupied control deltas).
• Property checks shots (coordinate any property corner or row marker visible from mainline control).
• DTM pavement verification and check shots.
• DTM ground verification and check shots.
• Compile data and submittal.
• Quality control (instrument and equipment calibration).
• Verify control datum with GPS VRS.
d. Survey services for the following:
• Row and easement staking existing or new location (per linear 1000).
• Enhancements and additional topographic survey (per acre).
• Centerline staking existing or new location (per 1000).
• Property data enhancements only (per parcel):
o Perform right of way and easement staking on existing alignment or new alignment. includes staking of existing, required, easements and driveway and construction easements. (Per 1000 ft.).
o Stake c/l on existing or new alignment location (per 1000ft).
o Survey for additional enhancements topography, DTM, utilities, drainage, structures, property and row (per acre).
o Full field topographic survey on sub-mile projects. (Topography, DTM, utilities, drainage, structures, proper-ty/row) (per acre).

o compile survey control package, if needed.
o all survey work will be performed according to the department’s survey manual.
e. PLS (professional land surveyor) services for property and boundary surveys:
• Perform courthouse research and fieldwork to produce recordable plats that meet technical standards.
• Create recordable plats and legal descriptions.
• Reset any missing property corners as necessary.
f. PLS (professional land surveyor) services for reviewing and creating a report for the field checks on each project:
• Analyze the consultants’ property database for large obvious errors by importing into google earth and merging prop.
• Identify areas of the property database that may be in error including but not limited to property lines through driveways, houses, roadway, lines that do not match obvious field evident property lines, etc.
• Pull random deeds and plats and right of way plans and check the property resolution for accuracy.
• Especially in questionable areas as delineated in the google earth overlay or other methods.
• Compare the field located property and row pins with the field checks shots for accuracy.
• compare all project control check shots for accuracy.
• Run an open roads and inroads check report on the digital terrain model and pavement.
• Analyze accuracy.
• Create a response letter consisting of three main areas.
• The letter should reflect if the property, DTM, and pavement sections meet or does not meet agency accuracy standards.
• If they do not meet, give a brief recommendation on the work needed to get the data corrected.
• The letter should also state if the control package is accepted and if the main control meets accuracy.
