Community Engagement and Business Climate Survey Services

The vendor is required to provide community engagement and business climate survey to develop, conduct, and analyze a community engagement and business climate survey of businesses district.
- Requirement:
•    Hold an initial kickoff meeting with township and agency staff
•    Create survey instruments, methodology, and schedules in consultation with staff
•    Recommend the most cost-effective and productive methodology (online, phone, in-person, or hybrid)
•    Develop survey questions designed to assess:
o    Current perceptions of the township agency business climate
o    Programs, resources, and initiatives that businesses would find most helpful
o    Short- and long-term challenges businesses are facing
o    Business demographic information (size, type, years in operation, etc.)
•    Administer the survey to ensure a representative sample of agency businesses
•    Provide a draft and final report (within 30 days of survey completion) that includes:
o    Detailed data analysis
o    Key findings and insights
o    Recommendations for agency strategy and programming
•    Present survey results to township staff, agency members, and elected officials (minimum of two presentations)
- To ensure the survey produces optimally impactful results, the selected firm will also be expected to:
•    Collect business demographic data. 
•    Segment results geographically by corridor zones
•    Assess perceptions of customer traffic, market reach (local vs. regional), and barriers to growth. 
•    Evaluate awareness of and satisfaction with the agency role, initiatives, and communication methods. 
•    Capture forward-looking perspectives, including business outlook and willingness to engage in agency -led initiatives. 
•    Provide benchmarking questions that can be repeated in future surveys to measure changes over time. 
•    Deliver results with detailed analysis and clear visualizations (e.g., graphs, maps, comparisons by business type and location).
