The vendor is required to provide workforce education and labor market alignment study is expected to take up to a year, including reporting and implementation conversations, beginning no later than January 2026.
a. Analyze the labor market
• Collect and interpret regional workforce data (employment trends, wages, skill needs, demographics).
• Identify high-priority industries and occupations.
b. Engage employers and stakeholders
• Develop and implement an employer engagement plan.
• Conduct surveys and interviews with employers, workforce boards, and economic development agencies.
c. Evaluate college programs
• Inventory current credit and non-credit workforce programs.
• Compare program content and outcomes to employer needs.
• Assess program sustainability, capacity, and resources.
d. Develop strategic recommendations
• Recommend program updates, new initiatives, or potential restructuring.
• Propose strategies for sustained employer engagement and funding.
• Prepare a final workforce alignment assessment report and present findings to college leadership.
