The Vendor is required to provide to develop a comprehensive regional traffic impact analysis guidelines that establish consistent, transparent and sound methodologies for assessing the impacts of development.
- Provide to develop comprehensive and regionally consistent traffic impact analysis guideline that focus on high-level policies, prioritizing factors such as pedestrian/bicycle safety and transit planning, while considering the mobility needs of automobile traffic.
- Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to review the literature review and stakeholder interview summary report and the draft traffic impact analysis guidelines for state document.
- Clearly identify any proposed new trip generation rates and explain how these rates were determined.
- Provide a comparison between the existing and proposed and highlight how developers and other stakeholders may be impacted.
- Maintain regular communication with stakeholders.
- Collect feedback, identify concerns, incorporate revisions and reach consensus with stakeholders to ensure practicality and regional relevance.
