- The Service Provider shall comply with:
• Supplementary standards for pharmacists caring for residents of long-term care homes (college of pharmacy professionals)
• Special care home guidelines (ministry of health)
• Pharmacy proprietor agreement (ministry of health)
• Accreditation country
• The pharmacy and pharmacy disciplines act
• The drug schedules regulations, 1997
• Cannabis act
• Cannabis regulations
• Controlled drugs and substances act
• Benzodiazepines and other targeted substances regulations
• Exemption 56 – methadone
• Marijuana for medical purposes regulations
• Narcotic control regulations
• Food and drugs act
• Food and drugs regulations
• Maid: an act to amend the criminal code and to make related amendments to other acts
• Maid: regulations for monitoring of medical assistance in dying
• The health information protection act
• Personal information protection and electronic documents act
• Privacy act.
- The provision of medication carts, pill crushers, onsite pharmacists, med room supplies, other supplies in compliance with Occupational Health and Safety as well as safety needs of the Home is encompassed in the fees.
- Contract Period/Term: 5 years
