The vendor is required to provide for media monitoring needs:
• Viewing and categorizing news media mentions in the form of news coverage items on a daily, weekly, monthly, basis, etc., about dew and related prek-12education
1. View and analyze who, what, when, where, why, and how news outlets are reporting about dew from statewide, regional, and local levels
• Monitor public perception of policies, processes, and employees through media monitoring metrics such as sentiment and tone of coverage, volume of stories, etc.
• Monitor news coverage of legislative activity and processes
• Ability to identify new and existing education stakeholders and audiences through news coverage that is education related.
• Utilize local and regional coverage to identify trends from the industry/field that may generate a response or communication related strategy to be employed.
- Training and support
• onboarding shall consist of initial access granted by contract start date to set number of users (a minimum of 3).
1. Initial demonstration and scheduled personalized trainings shall be conducted with live support personnel or provided via video training series on an as-needed basis.
2. Ability to ask questions of trainer during and after the training session(s).
• Access to continued training video library and user guides to allow users to train at their own convenience.
• Support shall cover basic administrative account agreement questions such as billing cycle, user interface and user experience questions, technical support, and troubleshooting.
- Social media publishing and monitoring: provide and negotiate access to paywalled news sources – especially important to access state-based news outlets; an offeror shall provide:
• Ability to create and schedule social media content and posts across multiple channels and accounts.
• Availability of smartphone app to publish and schedule posts, receive engagement notifications, and access integrated inbox with direct messages and comments from multiple social accounts.
• Share listing of media outlets that can be accessed by the offeror.
• Social scheduling and the ability to post natively.
• Ability to see all social content on editorial content via a visual calendar for at-a glance ease.
- Interface and data analysis tools
• Rigorous product interface designed to search regional, national, and global news media sources within specific keyword and timeline parameters set by a user.
1. An integrated or separate interface designed to support social media channels, content creation, scheduling, and monitoring needs.
• Customizable search function to allow users’ the ability to search industry and competitor insights with metrics for benchmarking.
• Ability to report specified competitor metrics, including account followers and engagements.
• Ability to conduct social media searches across channels such as Instagram, X, Facebook, Youtube, blogs, etc.
1. Ability to search social platforms such as forums, review sites, message boards, and comment sections.
2. Track and search of relevant metrics and functions for established keywords in hashtags, captions, etc.
3. Metrics may include but are not limited to video views, comments, shares, likes, reach, retweet, etc.
4. Provide an integrated inbox for all social engagements, including incoming public and private messages, notifications, comments on organic posts and paid promotions, instances of keyword search results, and use of specific hashtags. • Run retrospective, ad-hoc searches using keywords

• Ability for each user to set up and run custom reports on a daily, weekly, monthly, or annual basis to summarize selected metrics to be delivered via email.
• Generate customized, interactive dashboards and obtain qualitative & quantitative analysis of searches.
• Ability to analyze impact and effectiveness of earned, paid, and owned media coverage across various mediums, and run year-over-year analysis on campaigns and keywords.
