The Vendor is required to provide social media growth and content production services.
- Expand the district’s social media following, increase organic engagement, and establish the district’s accounts as a credible, authentic, and insurgent social voice across platforms, with a focus on Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
- Mix of creative production and platform strategy to ensure a consistent cadence of rapid-response short-form content and fully produced longer-form videos.
- Office communicates with constituents through community events, newsletters, earned media, and social platforms.
- Constituent engagement increasingly occurs online through video-first channels.
- Provide regular reports analyzing performance metrics and providing recommended adjustments to maximize impact.
- Ensure all content is delivered in posting-ready format (captions, hashtags, thumbnails, descriptions etc.) and either directly posted under approved workflows or deliver final packages for district staff upload, as agreed during contract kickoff.
- Short and Long Form Content Production
• Produce and deliver rapid-response video content tied to Supervisor’s activities, policy agenda, and message priorities.
• Produce fully scripted, filmed, and edited longer-form narrative videos tied to policy priorities and audience development goals, with flexibility for different formats depending on agreed-upon platform strategy (e.g., explainer videos, testimonial stories, policy deep-dives).
• Manage storyboarding, filming logistics, editing, sound, and graphics to deliver professional-quality products.
• Handle editing, captioning, and packaging of videos for posting on Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn while ensure is platform-optimized
• Develop and maintain templates and repeatable formats to ensure speed and consistency of output for in-house capacity of District staff.
- Platform Strategy + Growth
• Build, maintain, and adapt platform playbooks (posting cadence, hashtags, and engagement tactics) based on results, aiming for maximum reach and engagement.
• Advise on workflow design and division of labor between district staff and contractor, with flexibility for respondents to propose the structure that best suits their team capacity and strengths.
- Integration of Production and Strategy
• Preference will be given to respondents who can provide either integrated services (production + strategy) or demonstrate exceptional capacity in one area (creative production or platform strategy).
• Ensure creative content strategy is designed in tandem with platform growth and algorithmic optimization strategies.
- Increase organic engagement (comments, shares, saves, and video completions) to meet or exceed industry benchmarks.
