The Vendor is required to provide comprehensive social media management services.
- Objective is to enhance the City’s digital presence, community engagement, and promotional reach for its cultural events and initiatives.
- Organic Digital Media Management
• Manage official social media channels identified by the department, consisting of 10 social media accounts on Instagram and Facebook – including 4 venues (cultural center, Baca, Ali/The Hire, Ely) and overall city accounts.
• Develop and implement a strategic and impactful content plan aligned with department branding and promotional goals.
• Utilize graphics created by the in-house department team and develop additional videos and promotional visuals to support content needs.
• Create and schedule 5 to 7 posts per week for each department account across platforms, using in-house graphics or custom content that aligns with brand guidelines.
• Create engaging video reels for posts and ads. Account for eight (8) monthly events; total ninety-six (96) a year
• Develop and manage Meta ad campaigns with allocated budget per campaign.
• Provide and maintain a monthly posting schedule, including post captions for department approval.
o The post schedule shall be submitted at least three weeks before the start of each month.
o Approved posts shall be scheduled using Hootsuite.
• Respond to post engagements (likes, comments, DMS) as approved by department.
o All responses must first be approved by department and documented for review.
• Maintain and organize a digital “content vault” of photos and videos in a designated city-approved storage platform.
- Growth and Performance Consulting
• Serve as a growth consultant and social media strategist to increase department following of engaged users by at least 25% per year and drive more traffic to the department website to boost overall awareness.
• Drive traffic to the website to purchase tickets or register for events.
• Design and execution of campaigns that may include:
o Artist social media collaborations
o Contests and giveaways
o Cross-brand and community collaborations
o Discount/promotion codes
o Influencer marketing initiatives
• Provide the following analytics and reporting:
o Monthly ad performance reports
o Custom event analytics reports
o Quarterly performance dashboards
• Participate in monthly performance review meetings with department to discuss:
o Content and ad effectiveness
o Event performance
o Strategy adjustments
o Recurring patterns and opportunities.
