The Vendor is required to provide for community based social marketing professional services.
- Aims to engage qualified, experienced consulting firms or teams to develop a marketing and community education strategy for the City Zero Waste Program.
- Consultant shall perform the following services pertaining to community based social marketing (CBSM) principles, data-driven insights, and creative engagement strategies to achieve measurable behavior change.
- Conduct initial assessments to understand existing community practices, motivations, and potential opportunities for behavior change.
- Documentation of research methods and data sources used.
- Conduct research to identify and prioritize behaviors with the greatest potential for impact and engagement.
- Explore barriers and benefits influencing participation in prioritized behaviors. Identify target audiences and motivators. Develop preliminary recommendations for intervention strategies.
- Recommended strategies to address identified barriers and motivators.
- Design and refine intervention strategies and communication approaches informed by earlier research.
- Based on pilot results, develop a plan to scale successful interventions.
- Contract Period/Term: 2 years
