Professional Learning Services

The Vendor is required to provide for a high quality professional learning package as outlined.
- Provide a specially designed instruction (SDI) mathematics professional learning package(s) that meets the following criteria:
• Use evidence-based content aligned with tier i or tier ii of ESSA tiers of evidence.
• Aligns with SDI framework
○ Components
○ Critical features
○ Uses evidence-based, high leverage practices for mathematics
○ Uses student data from diagnostic assessments and progress monitoring
• aligns with the state academic standards for mathematics including the content standards and the Standards for mathematical practices.
• Aligns with state priorities including: the state academic standards, state teaching standards and criteria, state administrator standards, and/or numeracy, high-quality instruction.
• Includes professional learning goals and objectives specific to student learning outcomes and educator implementation expectations.
• Utilizes research-based adult learning strategies to promote understanding of the participants, active participation, and collaboration.
• Includes applications and assessments of new knowledge and skills
• Gives ownership of the professional learning package to the department.
• Personalizes and differentiates to meet educators’ unique learning needs and classroom contexts.
• Includes a plan for ongoing coaching, networking, and/or support for educators including teachers and administrators, to implement and reflect on new practices.
• Includes a comprehensive evaluation plan, including data collection and analysis.
- The professional learning package will use protocols, processes, and strategies to facilitate embedded collaboration and how this will lead to deep learning and reflection.
- Must explain in detail how the professional learning package will include applications and assessments of new knowledge and skills.
- The professional learning package will include feedback that is timely, specific, and actionable, guiding further learning.
- Provide how the professional learning package will provide clear actions steps for participants following the learning.
- Contract Period/Term: 1 year
