The Vendor is required to provide an educational software platform to support progress monitoring and data tracking for student academic achievement.
- The platform is expected to offer teachers the ability to monitor and access student learning, improve operational efficiency, and empower teachers and administrators with actionable insights.
- Platforms should support teachers in meeting the needs of all students, including those who receive the following services: English language development, specialized learning, and gifted.
• Provides a means for teachers to collect, track, and analyze student data.
• Offers library of pre-loaded assessments and/or assessment items aligned to state standards for learning.
• Offers the ability for customizable assessments and/or assessment items.
• Supports a variety of assessment item types including (but not limited to): multiple- choice, short-answer, extended response, technology enhanced, and/or performance-based rubrics.
• Auto-grading and reporting options.
• Offers opportunities for students to interact with content/skills and demonstrate learning on a deeper level.
• Empowers teachers and administrators with real-time, actionable data-driven insights.
• Requirements for single-sign on (SSO) feature compatible with office365, google workspace or class Link.
• Provide a district dashboard for systemic progress monitoring with administrator accounts at the district and school level.
a. Proposal to include the minimum requirements for rostering and district dashboards.
• Supports educator collaboration with sharing capabilities at the district and school level.
• Strengthens school-to-home connections with parent reporting and communication options.
• Manages the complete project life cycle – including readiness, implementation, comprehensive training, and sustained ongoing support to guarantee a successful integration and adoption across district, servicing approximately 23,000 students and 1,800 teachers. - Usability:
• The program is user-friendly and can provide students with engaging, interactive and age-appropriate assessment items.
• Includes a text-to-speech tool, which includes the reading of texts and online tool capabilities (highlighter, magnifier, color contrast, virtual manipulatives, etc.) when appropriate.
• Personalized feedback and support for students during when appropriate.
• The materials should offer comprehensive teacher guidance, including helpful annotations and suggestions for effectively implementing both student and ancillary materials to support student development.
- Data and reporting preferences:
• Methodology for frequently identifying or diagnosing students’ unfinished learning and directing students to content that addresses their specific needs.
• Capabilities to provide robust reporting dashboard tools for tracking an individual student and classroom level for the teacher to monitor product usage, growth and achievement.
• Dashboard/reports that contain detailed performance and progress information in both written and graphical forms to facility the use of the scores for instructional planning and decision-making.
• Allowance for exporting test results to be uploaded into the district data management system.
• Reporting that provides parents/guardians and others with necessary information about the progress of the learner so that they may provide support at home or outside the school setting.
• Provides access to student-facing, teacher-facing, and parent/guardian facing data reports in multiple languages.
- Support, training and professional development
• The proposal shall describe the initial training and professional development necessary to begin implementation of the proposed platform.
• The proposed platform should include a training component so teachers can easily learn the product and all it can do to support them and the students’ needs.
• The proposal shall allow respondent representative(s), in a timely manner, to work on a regular basis with district/school personnel to answer all questions regarding production or financial matters pertaining to the individual services required.
• Describe the cost and how often research shows that refresher training is required.
• Outline the training provided for the use of the results for individual students.
- Platform and solution requirements
• Seamless, real-time integration with district’s student information system (sis).
• Active integration with one roster, class link, schoology, google office 365, infinite campus, synergy, PowerSchool, and other solutions identified by the district.
• The system must allow for bi-directional data flow, ensuring the program can retrieve, update, and process real-time information from these systems.
• Applications standards such as LTI (learning tools interoperability), thin cc (thin common cartridge) or QTI (questions and test interoperability) are beneficial.
• The application should be compatible with windows 11 with the minimum student device requirements of 4 GB ram, with the n100/n200 processor.
• The application should have a district dashboard with a super admin password that allows for the creation of role based access for other users.
• Integration with the district’s single sign-on (SSO) platforms such as office365, class link, and google for seamless and secure user access via SAML, oof2, or LDAP.
• Ability to authenticate users to provide personalized, role based specific responses.
