The Vendor is required to provide to obtain and launch a proof of concept health and wellness system for approximately 1,000 agency employees.
- Services include:
• This system should be able to support a user base of 1,000 at minimum with the ability to upscale if needed at a per license/product cost.
• Wellness Support: Access to mental, physical, and emotional health resources, with emphasis on stress management, resilience, and healthy lifestyle practices
• Tracking Capabilities: Health-related activity tracking such as fitness, sleep, and other personal wellness metrics. This data needs to be able to be backed up securely to the cloud.
• Community Engagement: Peer-to-peer support features, virtual communities, or other collaborative tools that foster connection and resilience.
• Educational Resources: Access to digital materials, references, and self-guided tools for further health and wellness learning.
• Privacy & Confidentiality: Options for anonymous participation, with strict protections for user data and confidentiality.
• Analytics & Reporting: Anonymous engagement metrics and usage reporting to evaluate adoption and program effectiveness.
• Accessibility & Usability: This service must provide multi-platform access, including mobile, desktop, tablet etc. Compatibility with all major OS platforms i.e. Microsoft and Apple is required. Additionally, an offline mode is required to ensure support is available anytime, anywhere.

- The system must provide tools and resources that employees can access in real time, in a way that best fits their needs.
- System include:
• The system shall contain content specific to the needs of correctional staff - including but not limited to corrections officers, probation and parole officers, in-facility medical staff, in-facility administrative staff, in-facility buildings and grounds staff, in-facility food service staff, etc.
• The system shall provide fitness recommendations and guidance including but not limited to work out plans, injury prevention information, and the importance of regular exercise
• The system shall provide content on healthy eating including but not limited to recipes, calorie and macro counts, and tips for healthy eating
• The system shall provide stress management content including relaxation techniques, deep breathing techniques, and progressive muscle relaxation
• The system shall provide mental health resources including but not limited to self-assessment tools, mood tracking, and psychoeducation
• The system shall provide meditation content including but not limited to guided meditations of various lengths in 5 minute increments up to 30 minutes
• The system shall provide sleep hygiene resources and best practices as well as sleep tracking capabilities
• The system shall provide trauma-informed education including but not limited to information about secondary trauma, PTSD, and critical incidents
• The system shall provide information on mindfulness and resiliency
• The system shall provide resources to support the effects of shift work on employees including but not limited to circadian rhythm support and fatigue prevention
• The system shall provide education resources on defining boundaries and employing de-escalation techniques
• The system shall provide support resources for family members including but not limited to work-life balance, relationship strain, and understanding of the stresses of jobs in corrections
• The system shall provide crisis support including but not limited to one-touch access to a crisis hotline, anonymous peer support, licensed mental health professionals, and chaplains
• The system shall provide risk screening tools including but not limited to phq-9, gad-7, and PTSD checklists
• The system shall allow content specific to the department
• The system shall provide motivational content
• The system shall provide financial "wellness" information with but not limited to financial planning, budgeting, and stress management related to finances
• The system shall provide content supporting the importance of taking time off, using PTO, and taking time for self-care while offering resources on using time off effectively and the importance of activities and hobbies outside of work
• The system shall provide resources to support healthy relationships including but not limited to parenting, strengthening the family, and navigating work-life challenges
• The system shall provide a clear purpose statement explaining the benefits of using it
• The system shall provide a clear notification of privacy.
