The Vendor is required to provide for a comprehensive suite of labor market and data solutions to assess existing and potential new academic programs.
- The academic program and labor market analytics tool will help the university better understand the competitive market as well as state, regional, and national workforce demand for academic programs; the alumni outcomes tool will help us understand university alumni’s career pathways and success, including whether they are employed in a position aligned with the degree program from which they graduated, and their estimated wages; and Application Programming Interfaces will enable us to access data.
- The labor market and alumni outcomes tools must be compatible across multiple devices and operating systems (including web browsers) including but not limited to smart phones, tablets, laptops, and computers.
- The tools must also have an intuitive and user-friendly interface to access labor market and graduates’ (alumni) outcomes data, while allowing users to search for such data by program (via key word or Classification of Instructional Programs (CIP)).
- Provide a comprehensive labor market analytics tool that includes real-time and historical traditional labor market data, job posting analytics, professional profile analytics, and completion data for similar programs both in the state and nationally.
- The tool will provide a comprehensive understanding of the current job market that includes real-time, historical and projected labor market data, job posting analytics, industry information using institute and/or SOC classification, and professional profile analytics while identifying emerging trends to strategically plan and align academic programs with industry.
- The resulting report should also give a clear indication of the competitive landscape or potential new and existing programs by providing completion and/or enrollment data for comparable programs at the state, regional, and national levels.
- The report should provide trend data.
- The report should also include relevant skills and qualifications needed for the employment opportunities identified.
- The tool should be user-friendly and allow us to pull this information on demand, not submit a request and wait for a report to be delivered (e.g., subscription or license to pull an unlimited number of reports; subscription or license for at least 3 users).
- Report examples include (but are not limited to):
• Education pathways and subsequent outcomes
• Career pathways and estimated wages
• Longitudinal alumni success and performance measure trends
• Comparison of customer alumni outcomes to other institutions and regions
• Identification of top-performing programs and areas based on alumni success
• Demographic characteristics
• Comparisons to other institutions and regions.
- Provide an API that allows other software or hardware to interface to deliver access to job postings, labor market information (LMI), and professional profiles data.
