The vendor is required to provide DNS, DHCP, and IP address management (IPAM) platform grid capabilities in the areas of:
•    DNS (authoritative and recursive)
•    DHCP services
•    Centralized IP address management
•    Automation and API integrations
•    Security features (DNS firewall, threat analytics, etc.)
•    High availability and scalability.

•    Support for DNS, DHCP, and IPAM in a single or modular platform
•    Support ipv6 with feature capabilities similar to those of ipv4
•    Support for DNSSEC, RPZ, DNS load balancing, and DNS firewall features
•    Role-based access control and auditing
•    Logging, reporting, and analytics tools - is passive DNS offered (query and response)
o    Ability for DNS logging and recursion to be able to log every query that comes into the recursive servers
o    Ability to keep logs for DNS and DHCP transactions both locally and feed them into the syslog gateway (SPLUNK) in real time
•    Service availability monitoring and proactive alerting.
•    Overall system health monitoring and alerting.
•    Support for API-based automation
•    Integration with SIEM, NAC, and cloud platforms 
•    HA and failover capabilities
•    Support for container environments and microservices
•    The capability to monitor both the appliances and services. 
•    Integration with monitoring platforms.
