Real Time Location Solution

The Vendor is required to provide for a real-time location solution (“RTLS”) to support the tagging and continuous tracking of assets, which includes medical equipment, IT equipment, human capital, and other high value items.
- Solution must include software, label printers, physical equipment (i.e. such as handheld and fixed scanners), as well as being compliant with relevant regulations applicable to Healthcare sector and technical product international standards.
- Printable and scan able barcode tags for affixing to equipment.
- These tags must be resistant to heat, normal cleaning and wear and tear.
- These tags should be capable of being in place for a decade or more.
- These must be durable, resistant to environment handling (such as tearing & scratching, heat and other hazards.
- These tags should be capable of being in place for a decade or more.
- These tags should be tamper-resistant and be capable of alerting on a dashboard, in real-time, if removed.
- These tags should come in the form of affix able to, say visitor’s badges or as armbands.
- These must be durable, resistant to environment handling (such as tearing & scratching, heat and other hazards.
- These tags should be capable of being in place for a decade or more and be reusable.
- These tags should be tamper-resistant and be capable of alerting on a dashboard, in real-time, if removed.
- We anticipate requiring this volume of fixed scanners installed across our main hospital, satellite hospitals and clinics, with clinic locations, entry/exit points, and material management and in corporate offices.
- The printers must be capable of printing the volume of barcodes we require without failing due to volume.
- To setup and configure the software for use across all of our locations
- To provide training to staff (up to 50 staff) on the use of the software.
- To provide training to staff (up to 15 staff) on the use of the dashboard, alerting and standardized reporting capabilities.  This will include staff in bio medical, materials management, finance, risk, H&S, compliance, and it security
