Specialized Aviation Service Operator

The Vendor is required to provide for a non-exclusive specialized aviation service operator (SASO) to services.
- The main terminal, located in the center of the Airport, has over 7,000 square feet of floor space. The terminal features a large conference room with a large display monitor for video conferencing, and a smaller conference room; there are separate offices and airport staff work space, a pilots’ lounge and separate snooze room, and a flight planning room.
- Respondent will operate and maintain county fuel storage facilities in accordance with national fuel branding standards, providing supporting documentation to minimize liability claims associated with aviation fuel sales.
- Provide industry-standard concierge service to both pilots and passengers to include but not limited to ramp valet support, car rentals and car services, coordination of in-flight catering and aircraft cabin restocking, and assistance in hotel accommodations.
- Emergency service capability to retrieve/tow/transport disabled general aviation aircraft off the active runway or taxiway, as needed, to promptly restore normal airfield operations.
- Aircraft ramp services to include marshalling, towing, ground servicing and handling.
- On-site clerical/administrative services to handle tenant requests in regard to aircraft handling, billing, and required monthly reporting.
- Provide miscellaneous retail product (pilot supplies, promotional clothing, etc.) for sales
- Employment of the appropriate number of properly trained and/or certified personnel to provide satisfactory aircraft line services, such as fuel handling/uplift, and professional aircraft ground support.
