The Vendor is required to provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and supervision necessary to furnish and install specialized vehicle solutions (SVS) for designated city department vehicles.
- Services Include:
• Installation of unmarked vehicle packages and accessories
• Installation of light packages for covert or marked units
• Installation of ballistic door panels
• Fabrication and installation of vehicle cages and interior accessories, including those for non-standard and foreign vehicle models
• Installation of tinted, armored, or ballistic glass.
• Installation of bedliners
• Installation of rear compartment slide-out systems
• Installation of vehicle grapplers
• Fabrication and installation of custom, reinforced front and rear bumpers
• Installation or supply of custom wheels and tires
- Utilize diagnostic tools, wiring harnesses, and fabrication equipment appropriate to vehicle year, make, and model.
- Electrical systems must be installed using weatherproof connectors, proper wire gauges, and fuse protection.
- Fabricate and install reinforced front and/or rear bumpers (including tow hitches) tailored to vehicle make and model.
- Grappler system must be securely mounted, road-tested, and not interfere with vehicle safety systems.
- Install bed covers, slide-out drawer or equipment trays designed for secure gear storage and ease of access.
- Contract Period/Term: 3 years
