Digital Forensics Case Management Platform

The Vendor is required to provide a secure, AWS Gov Cloud hosted case management platform for digital forensics, eDiscovery, and incident response.
- Platform Requirements
•    Off-the-Shelf Solution: A commercial, digital-forensics–specific case and laboratory management platform.
•    Digital Forensics Design: Desktop and web-based functionality purpose-built for digital forensics laboratories.
•    ICAC & Statewide Cybercrime Support: Include required capabilities for ICAC and statewide cybercrime laboratory operations, including:
o    Vendor-neutral forensic tool environments
o    GovCloud integration
o    Examiner backlog reporting
o    Multi-agency evidence intake workflows
- System Access & Hosting
•    Environment Support: Must operate within CJIS-compliant GovCloud environments and offer both desktop application and web-based access.
•    Cloud Hosting (AWS GovCloud): Vendor-hosted AWS GovCloud deployment meeting all federal and state security and compliance standards.
•    Scalable Storage: Cloud-based, on-demand storage scalability without internal server capacity limitations.
- Mobile Integration
•    Mobile Application: Enables agents to photograph seized devices and use AI to automatically generate evidence records, streamlining on-scene case creation.
- Identity, Access, and Security
•    Azure AD Integration: Utilize state existing Azure AD for authentication and access control for internal users and external agency partners.
•    Role-Based Access Control: Provide role-based permissions and support creation of custom permission sets.
•    External Agency Access: Allow authorized external agencies to submit forensic requests and supporting documents directly through the platform.
- Case, Evidence, and Workflow Management
•    Case Management: Support the full case lifecycle, including evidence tracking, documentation, notes, and task assignments.
•    Case Tracking: Provide comprehensive tracking of forensic requests and communications between internal personnel and external agencies.
•    Evidence Management: Assign unique IDs to all evidence items and maintain detailed chain-of custody records, including assignment, transfer, and storage updates.
•    Customization:
o    Create, edit, and modify input fields
o    Configure workflows for various forensic case types
o    Customize dashboards for user-specific insights.
