The vendor required to provide transit data management platform to obtain a state-of-the-art, user-friendly system that streamlines transit data collection and reporting from already installed already installed automatic passenger counters (APCs).
- Mandatory requirements
• The system must integrate with existing, already installed automatic passenger counters (APCs) in addition to APCs pending installation.
• Current APCs are all integrated horizontal reflectorized APCs and APCs pending installation are overhead Hella APCs.
• All a APCs pcs are installed and maintained by urban transportation associates.
• The system must provide all APC -based reporting required for national transit database (NTD) reports for full reporters, including data on ridership and passenger miles.
• The system must provide information on on-time performance and passenger loads for planning and internal reporting efforts.
• System manages recurring NTD certification per federal transit administration requirements, including comparison of processed APC data against manual passenger counts.
