The vendor required to provide metro rail platform for total of (39) rail stops and (62) rail platforms along all three rail lines.

- Fabrication
• Acceptable materials for new signage are limited to glass, Lexan, and polycarbonate and acrylic materials, and must match existing signage materials.
• Any translucent materials incorporated into the signage must exclusively use 3m™ translucent graphic material, ensuring consistency and adherence to established quality standards.
• All fabrication shall be executed in such a manner that all edges and corners off finished letter forms and sign substrates are true and clean.
• Letterforms and signs with rounded positive and negative corners, nicked, cut or ragged edges, bent or distressed edges etc. will not be accepted.
• All finishes shall be executed in such a manner that all surfaces shall have a smooth even f finish and are free of all irregularities.
• All letterforms must be so aligned as to maintain a baseline parallel to the sign format.
• Margins must be maintained as specified by sign type layouts.
• All edges of letterforms shall be sharp and clean with no edge buildup or bleeding.
• All surfaces of letterforms shall be without pinholes.
• All paint and ink shall be evenly applied and without pinholes, orange feeling, scratches, application marks, and other imperfections.
• Workmanship in connection with f finishes of signage shall conform to the highest standards of the trade.
- Installation:
• Inspect all signs for evidence of damage at the site before installation.
• Examine the conditions and substrates under which the installation is to be performed and notify metro in writing of any unsatisfactory condition.
• Do not proceed with the work until the unsatisfactory conditions have been corrected or subsequent change of location has been indicated.
• Follow all recommendations and instructions for installation as provided herein (or by the manufacturer in such a case where instructions are provided).
• Install letter and sign units and components at the locations shown or scheduled, securely mounted with concealed fasteners, unless otherwise shown, attach signs to substrates in accordance with manufacturer' s instructions, unless shown.
• Install, level and plumb at the proper height.
• Cooperate with other trades for installation of sign units to finish surfaces.
• Repair or replace damaged units as directed by the metro.
• Installer will coordinate and field measure proper location of sign units, where required, with metro.
• Sign locations with existing mechanical, electrical and plumbing elements and shall notify metro in writing of any visual or physical conflicts.
• Protect all adjacent surfaces from damage during installation, promptly repair any such damage should it occur.
• Following installation, remove all traces of visible tapes, adhesives, wrappings or refuse from the installation.
• Provide all necessary equipment to ensure metro personnel and public patrons are protected from the work area.
- Schedule of work:
• Project timeline: three (3) months from the effective date of the contract.
• Provide metro’s project manager with a written time schedule a week before the first day.
• Schedule must clearly identify the locations for work to be performed.
