The Vendor is required to provide hosted web-based leased automated driver license testing system (ADLTS) at department Driver License Offices (DLO) statewide that provides installation, software licenses, maintenance, and support.
- Web-based testing would streamline this process and allow exam results to be sent to Field Operations electronically.
- Enhanced security of automated testing;
- Provide flexibility to meet present and changing driver license testing needs applicable to federal and state laws;
- Maintain the integrity of the testing process;
- Provide the customer with a comprehensive testing experience and
- Seamless integration with department customer database and customer queuing system.
- A web-based testing application installed on third-party testers systems for remote locations;
- Create an applicant record for each applicant administered Knowledge Exam. Either through the Driver License System (DLS) or manually.
- Provide updated visual aids for each question as required. Department may provide existing visual aids.
- Provide a Driver License class selection so that required Knowledge Exams are auto-selected as determined by department.
- Allow for the inclusion of mandatory questions on each generated exam.
- Display exam results on the exam console upon completion of the exam.
- Allow test results to be recorded and entered manually and record the event.
- Provide a recovery method in the event of a network or system failure. The method must restore an exam at the exact question displayed prior to the failure.
- Must offer its method for verification of applicant’s identity when using a Web-based testing application.
- The remote web-based testing Knowledge Exam application must meet the same requirements as the Knowledge Exams administered through an ADLTS console at department Driver License offices.
- Administer oral and visual tests in the following languages:
• English
• Spanish
• American Sign Language (ASL)
- Allow the applicant to select the language and allow the applicant to change the language during the test.
- Contract Period/Term: 5 years
