Augmented and Virtual Reality Laparoscopic Surgery Training System

The vendor required to provide augmented and virtual reality laparoscopic surgery training system for use in the surgical technology program.
- The height and spacing of these ports, as well as the angles available and the handles used should mimic actual laparoscopic instruments and cameras used. 
- Images shall be presented on a video screen with sufficient resolution, brightness, accuracy, and realism so as to provide the student with an experience preparing them to identify organs and structures in an actual surgery.
- The augmented and virtual reality laparoscopic surgery training system must be capable of presenting sufficient exercises and pathologies for students to learn and gain experience to be prepared to start their hospital clinical time in the laparoscopic surgery environment.
- Augmented and virtual reality laparoscopic surgery training system with at least a 27” high resolution color screen, at least two handles for instruments which mimic the actual instruments, a camera with 0–60-degree angles, zoom, rotate and light cord and foot pedals to mimic controls found on the most common laparoscopic surgery equipment.
- To include:
•    At least 5 ports for “insertion” of instruments and the camera, which allow the movement of instruments and the camera among the ports as needed for better viewing, or access to internal structures. 
•    A table capable of carrying and storing the simulator on rolling casters and the ability to adjust as necessary to adapt to appropriate heights to simulate the process.
- Capabilities:
•    Software and images to provide numerous opportunities to practice procedures in a realistic environment simulating realistic pathology and normal anatomy.
•    Additional modules may be offered for purchase later to expand the library of cases as program budget can afford.
•    The price includes on-site setup, calibration, installation, training, one-year full-service agreement and shipping. 
•    Option to extend the full-service support and preventative maintenance and calibration is desirable.
