The Vendor is required to provide a comprehensive Chromebook management system.
- Provide a scalable solution capable of managing approximately 80,000 student devices and associated accessories across approximately 90 school sites.
- System should support device inventory, assignment, fee tracking, reporting, and integration with existing District systems, including Google Workspace for Education, PowerSchool, and Active Directory (or equivalent identity management solutions).
- Provide a solution, inclusive of all required licensing, implementation, data migration, configuration, integration, and training.
- Comprehensive Asset Management
• Inventory and inventory management of Chromebooks, accessories (chargers, cases), and related devices.
• Support for asset lifecycle management, including acquisition, deployment, assignment, repair, and retirement.
• Ability to associate each asset with funding source, purchase order, and both hardware and software warranty details.
• Support for grouping assets by student, staff, classroom, cart, or site.
- Check-In / Check-Out Management
• Streamlined process for assigning and returning Chromebooks.
• Barcode or QR code scanning support.
• Option for digital signature capture during issuance and return.
