Double Decker Transportation System

The vendor required to provide transportation system to be compatible with its chevy 3500 express cargo van.
- This double deck transportation system will be used to increase the number of decedents that can be transported to the facility for various training events.
- Requirement:
•    Must fit a chevy 3500 express cargo van
•    Should have an upper and lower deck
•    Should fit various cot sizes, including standard and oversized cots side by side
•    Upper deck should be powered and able to be operated by a single person to allow for easy load and transport 
•    Should come with a ramp to assist with loading and unloading cots into lower and upper decks 
•    Both decks should allow for easy securing of the decedent and COT to the deck to prevent movement during transport 
•    Upper deck should hold a minimum of 600lbs load 
•    Material should be easy to clean and durable 
•    Installation should be possible with a typical body-shop service, ideally university fleet would be able to install and maintain if needed 
•    extended warranty should be available
•    The power system for lowering and raising decks should be a package that university fleet could easily work on for maintenance if needed 
•    Vender should be able to provide service representatives to troubleshoot any technical issues or questions.
