Cloud Migration and Endpoint Transition Services

The vendor is required to provide to migrate four on-premises servers to the cloud, transition core IT services to microsoft 365, and modernize infrastructure.
a. Active directory migration
• Migrate active directory services to microsoft 365 Entra id.
• Ensure seamless integration with existing authentication processes.
• Configure and validate security policies and access controls.
b. DHCP and DNS migration
• Migrate DHCP services to the on-premises firewall.
• Migrate DNS services to the on-premises firewall.
• Validate and test configurations to ensure minimal downtime.
c. File share migration
• Migrate 13 file shares, totaling approximately 600gb of data and 300,000 files, to microsoft 365.
• Distribute data appropriately between SharePoint and OneDrive.
• Ensure proper folder structures and permissions are retained.
• Implement data integrity verification post-migration.
d. SharePoint site creation and configuration
• Design and create SharePoint sites to accommodate migrated file shares.
• Implement appropriate permissions and access controls.
• Configure metadata, versioning, and retention policies as needed.
e. Workstation migration and upgrade
• Migrate (18) existing windows 11 computers from local active directory to microsoft 365 Entra id. 
• Transfer all user data, install and configure all required programs, and ensure all profile-specific settings are functional.
• Upgrade (11) windows 10 computers to windows 11 and migrate them from local active directory to microsoft 365 Entra id. 
• Transfer all user data, install and configure all required programs, and ensure all profile-specific settings are functional.
• Procure (18) new computers to replace existing windows 10 systems. configure new profiles on Entra id, transfer all user data, install and configure all required programs, and ensure all profile-specific settings are functional.
f. Line of business application audit
• Conduct a comprehensive audit of all on-premises line-of-business applications.
• Identify dependencies and potential compatibility issues with cloud migration.
• Develop and recommend solutions to be implemented to ensure continued functionality post-migration.
• Provide documentation and training on any required changes to workflows or configurations.
