ASL Interpreter Services

The vendor is required to provide american sign language (ASL) interpretation services for fiscal year 2026 (fy26).
- Service requirements
•    Provide on-site interpretation services for all planned meetings and the conference, with the capability to interpret for both in-person and virtual attendance. 
•    Availability of interpreters fluent in both ASL and english, with the ability to manage technical vocabulary specific to agency discussions.
•    Each interpreter will adhere to the code of professional conduct as stipulated by the registry of interpreters for the deaf (rid).
- Event schedule:
•    Agency advisory committee meetings: dates to be provided with adequate notice.
•    Agency advisory sub-committee meetings: dates to be provided with adequate notice.
•    2026 agency conference: dates and venue will be confirmed as the event approaches.
- Requirements
•    Confirm interpreter assignments at least two weeks prior to each scheduled meeting or event.
•    Provide contingency plans for interpreter coverage, including backup options in case of illness or emergency. 
•    Maintain a professional demeanor and uphold confidentiality during meetings and events.
