American Sign Language Interpretation Services

The vendor is required to provide american sign language (ASL) interpretation services all 88 counties in the state on a regional as-need basis.
- ASL interpretation and optional services (i.e., in-person, video remote interpreting, remote captioning services, tactile interpreting, etc.) for events hosted by agency, office of employee and business services, across various counties in the state.
- American sign language (ASL) interpreting services using the following methods:
•    In-person;
•    Video remote interpreting (VRI);
•    Remote captioning services (communication access real-time translation (CART) or type well);
•    Tactile interpreting;
•    C-print, etc.
- The interpreting services:
•    Identifying in detail ASL interpreting services it is offering to agency; 
•    Providing these services; 
•    These services would be provided through a subcontractor, and if so, the name of the subcontractor to be used must be included, as well as a statement of whether the interpreters are staff or on-contract workers, and; 
•    Interpreters must agree to always follow agency standards for interpretation.
