The vendor is required to provide teleradiology interpretation to support plain film and body imaging in CT and MRI for outpatient non emergent examinations.
- Features and components:
• Provide a remote board-certified (prefer fellowship trained) radiologist with a state license residing within the us final result- all results must conform to agency reporting macros, templates, and report communications. (Including critical and incidental findings)
• Formal quality assurance for providers per ACR criteria- including peer review and discrepancy tracking
• The ability to provide services utilizing agency computer equipment and systems to review and interpret images:
o Identify the PACS and reporting system will be utilized
o The preferred image transfer method
o Pertinent prior images requirements
• Provide detailed plan of hl7 integration of ADT orders, results, and secondary captures.
• Architectural diagrams detailing network and core system typology including high reliability and redundancy configurations.
• Mechanisms to maintain act compliance
• Describe turnaround times
• Define scalability of services if agency needs increased support
• Evening, night, and weekend coverage not required
• Identify expected radiologist pool to support this service.
• Identify back up processes for vendor staffing shortfalls.
