1. Curriculum development and instruction
• Deliver contextualized ESL curriculum focused on cdl-related vocabulary, workplace communication, safety terminology, and test preparation.
• Include instruction on reading comprehension, listening, speaking, and writing within the context of commercial driving.
• Incorporate both classroom and technology-assisted learning options.
2. Program delivery
• Provide classes in-person and virtual formats.
• Offer flexible scheduling (evenings or weekends) to accommodate working adults.
• Ensure alignment with state CDL testing requirements and industry standards.
3. Assessment and outcomes
• Conduct initial language assessments to determine participant skill levels.
• Track progress using recognized ESL benchmarks.
• Prepare participants to successfully pass CDL permit exams and employer-required language screenings.
• Provide reporting on enrollment, attendance, retention, and outcomes.
