• Particle size can be between 100 and 25,000 μm
• Particle speeds up to 200 m/s
• Particle types can be dust and snow particles, as well as water drops (possible mixed phase conditions)
• Provide 3D X, Y, and Z locations of the particle positions within the instrument’s field of view to within 100 um
• Provide 3D images of droplets ice crystals
• Instrumentation must withstand pressure range from 0.01 to 15 psia
• Instrumentation must withstand high humidity
• Instrumentation must withstand temperature range from 30 to 95oF
• Provide remote control of the imaging system and image acquisition
• Record images for 2 to 3 minutes at greater than 100 fps
