The vendor is required to provide mapping and analysis support services for include:
- GIS mapping and spatial analysis: develop clear, informative maps to support the planning process. mapping topics include, but are not limited to:
• Watershed context and geographical setting (e.g., topography, geology, hydrography, floodplains, soils, areas of erosion, and precipitation)
• Infrastructure (e.g., roads, bridges, stormwater systems, wellheads, and public water supplies
• Groundwater recharge areas critical to aquifer health and wetland function
• Population density
• Land use, zoning, and land cover
• Water quality data (e.g., impairments, point sources, hot spots)
• Impervious surface coverage
- Maps and graphics may be requested for use during public engagement or to support plan findings.
• Demographic analysis: collect and analyze relevant demographic data to inform the planning process. prepare clear, accessible summaries and visuals for public use and inclusion in the plan.
• Water quality interpretation: assist in reviewing and translating water quality data into meaningful insights for planning and public understanding.
• Document design and production: support the layout, design, and formatting of the final watershed management plan to ensure a visually engaging and user-friendly document.
