The vendor is required to provide of federal advisory services.
- Provide strategic advice in some or all the following research portfolio areas: health sciences, quantum computer and engineering, artificial intelligence, cross-functional collaboration, national defense, agricultural sciences, basic and applied sciences, social sciences, and humanities.
- Identify other universities/faculty with similar research portfolio goals/vision that align with university goals to coordinate opportunities, which may include grant proposals and collaborations.
- Provide written monthly reports on the status of our objectives, including guidance regarding potential funding opportunities that may be coming soon.
- Provide faculty with group meetings/webinars to strategize and/or professional development.
- Other government relations duties as assigned, i.e. summarize new agency programs (not lobbying).
- Facilitate meetings and establish relationships with federal decision makers, key stakeholders, and program managers.
- Identify new opportunities and potential revenue streams.
- Advocate for funding with decision makers, including the state delegation, to support these efforts.
- Provide counsel and expertise on issues regarding university administrative functions, such as student financial, international students and faculty, and institutional accreditation.
- Develop and manage a comprehensive strategy for third party relationship partnership and alliance building.
- Provide guidance and support for university federal engagements, including congressional testimonies, campus engagements, and office visits.
