The Vendor is required to provide redgate licensed software applications, including redgate monitor standard edition, for database monitoring and alerting for agency SQL server environment.
- Redgate licensed software will soon expire, and agency has identified a continuing need for using redgate licensed software to address comprehensive database monitoring and alerting for agency SQL server environment.
- Licensed software must be compatible with agency existing infrastructure, including, but not limited to:
• Microsoft SQL server 2022 enterprise (64-bit),
• Windows server 2022 datacenter (10.0),
• VMware hypervisor virtualization platform, and
• Windows service accounts whose access is controlled through active directory.
- Licensed software must be configurable, commercially available off-the-shelf product(s) available through subscription license(s) and must include, at a minimum, the following capabilities, features, and functionalities:
1. Redgate monitor enterprise edition licensed software:
• Accommodate monitoring of up to 40 virtual SQL server instances;
• Support on-premises deployment;
• Deliver high availability architecture that enables load balancing and failover to ensure consistent monitoring operations across environments;
• Provide real-time visibility into user access, historical activity, and configuration changes by enabling automated compliance auditing based on industry standards;
• Enable capture and logging of sensitive action and tracking of critical user actions within the licensed software application and include password, keys, and sensitive data redaction from log output; and
• Tracking and documenting user activity and changes to support audit trails and compliance requirements.
2. Redgate SQL tool belt essentials licensed software must:
• Accommodate a minimum of 3 users; and include, at a minimum:
• SQL server comparison tool for SQL server database schemas comparison and release;
• SQL server database contents comparison tool;
• SQL code writing tool with customizable code snippets and standardized styles;
• Database documents creation tool; and
• Source control tool to maintain referential integrity of SQL server database.
- Software maintenance and technical support services
• Software maintenance and technical support services include, but are not limited to, the following: telephone and on-line support, error corrections, software updates, software upgrades, software patches and fixes, software enhancements and releases, latest features, performance improvements, licensed software documentation, and technical library cd series, if applicable.
• Provide qualified personnel to be available to agency by telephone, email, or website for the reporting of problems or issues with the licensed software or software maintenance and technical support services.
• Software maintenance and technical support services must be unlimited during the term of the contract.
• Provide a helpdesk toll-free telephone number, email, or website for the reporting of problems or issues with the licensed software.
• Software upgrades and software patches automatically.
• Electronic and overnight delivery of software updates, replacement software and software patches will be supplied in the event of licensed software failure.
a. Release management and hot fix and patch application
• Successful respondent shall assist in pre-release planning, scheduling, and implementing installation of mandatory manufacturer software updates and software upgrades of the licensed software in accordance with the manufacturer-suggested support guidelines.
• Successful respondent’s notification shall specify the software release schedule, release notes and summary of impact to the licensed software.
• Successful respondent shall be responsible for resolving any issues resulting from a software release, software fix and patch as reported through successful respondent’s support center.
