The vendor is required to provide customized employment specialists services to secure competitive integrated employment (CIE) for disconnected youth and adults with disabilities in state, by addressing the unique employment, training, emotional, cognitive, and life adjustment factors experienced by disconnected youth and adults with disabilities.
- Responsibilities
• Designate a contact person to facilitate collaboration with journey staff.
• This person will ensure contractor staff complete the customized employment (CE) training Modules and provide employment services for job seekers.
• A minimum of one staff person will be required to complete the association of community rehabilitation educators (acre) training program.
• Includes four online modules and three in-person workshops.
• Identify job seekers to complete the CE process and gain competitive integrated employment (CIE).
• Complete required intake for job seekers.
• Provide individual employment supports including discovery planning, discovery, job Development and job coaching.
• Participate in regularly scheduled training and technical assistance (T/TA) calls with journey staff.
• Engage in regularly scheduled partner and stakeholder meetings.
• Data to the journey program and the external evaluator to evaluate services and outcomes at both the job seeker and the program level.
• Data includes variables such as demographics, services delivered, and outcomes.
• Report on activities and outcomes monthly.
• Identify and report on a CIE success story.
