The Vendor is required to provide information technology system modernization technical support services from a professional experienced IT Services Company.
- The desired targeted technical support will be performed remotely and on-site as the situation allows.
- Providing technical direction and hands-on support to current mainframe application modernization projects;
- Providing technical direction and support for mainframe infrastructure upgrade projects to include hardware, software, and security applications;
- Providing desktop engineering support to key projects and product implementations;
- Providing audiovisual support to implement new technologies, support agency conference centers, and individual users;
- Providing support to online workflow-based forms in products such as MSFORMS or ServiceNow;
- Providing technical direction and hands-on support to ServiceNow;
- Providing strategic direction for future IT infrastructure and system modernization activities;
- Developing long-term performance planning and capacity roadmap and future planning for hardware/software lifecycle management;
- Providing technical administrative support for systems integration and system interoperability for current and future system modernization projects;
- Participating in monthly status meetings to include providing a monthly status report;
- Developing and documenting operational procedures;
- The IT infrastructure is a complex environment composed of data centers, field offices, IBM mainframes, 350+ Windows and Linux servers, a 1.5 petabyte capacity SAN, 200+ network devices, 2400+ desktops and related peripheral devices, and 128 custom web applications.
- provide targeted technical support for both our IT infrastructure and system modernization activities.
- At times, full-time, this support may require staff to be full-time for a period, such as when replacing a significant amount of networking equipment or providing technical support for a full system migration away from mainframe technologies.
- At other times, support may be for a number of hours, days, or weeks to assist with technical planning, troubleshooting technical issues, or restoring an outage.
