The vendor is required to provide that comprehensive project planning and miscellaneous consulting services on-call and environmental and travel forecasting services for the department consisting of individual project assignments consistent with department requirements.
- Consultant services required:
• The consultants will be required to perform services that will include but not be limited to; project planning, environmental services, design services and miscellaneous consulting services including revenue and expense forecasting, toll analyses and studies pertaining to operating toll systems as directed by department.
• Assignments may include but are not limited to: providing travel demand modeling services; design services; developing secondary and cumulative effects analyses; conducting public involvement activities to completing environmental documents meeting the requirements of the national environmental policy act or the state environmental policy act, as applicable to department projects
• The services required to assess the potential impact of the proposed transportation improvements on • The environment and to complete assigned engineering tasks.
• The consultants may be requested to develop mitigation concepts for socioeconomic, natural and cultural resources impacts; to evaluate and graphically show impacts to residential, historic sites/districts, and undeveloped areas; to develop multi-modal transportation options and any other tasks as needed.
• Travel demand forecasting will be a part of the required services. in addition, the consultants may be required to prepare grant applications for future federal grant programs.
• The public involvement programs may include holding open house meetings, publishing newsletters, developing web site data, as well as other traditional public involvement activities.
• The consultants may be requested to review, estimate and/or analyze traffic and revenues, including toll schedules, capacity constraints on toll facilities and approach roads, concession revenues, and operating expenses.
• The services required to assess traffic and safety conditions of the transportation system.
• The traffic and safety work shall include but not be limited to the review and analysis of traffic impact statement and the review and analysis of safety data for the purpose of developing improvement concepts, and also conduct other miscellaneous traffic and safety reviews and design efforts.
• Include services to be provided by undesignated or specialty subconsultants that may be required by department for specific tasks under the contract
• The above services concurrently or independently on multiple project assignments, as necessary
all onsite support staff are subject to the annual audited field overhead rate.
