The vendor is required to provide employee benefits broker and consulting services.
- Commitment to ensuring our employees continue to receive the highest quality benefits, services, and products available in the marketplace.
- Identify a broker/consultant with a demonstrated ability to effectively manage and support the county’s employee benefits program.
- County currently has 865 full-time employees who are eligible for benefits.
- Broker will be expected to:
• Assess current health insurance plans and recommend alternatives.
• Solicit quotes from various insurance carriers.
• Analyze qualifications and present comparisons.
• Provide support during open enrollment periods.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations (e.g., ACA, HIPAA).
• Offer ongoing employee support and claims assistance.
• Advise on plan design, cost containment, and wellness programs.
• Conduct employee education and communication.
