The Vendor is required to provide legal services as the municipal court prosecutor.
• Prosecute class c misdemeanor cases on behalf of the state and the city.
• Reviews case files, complaints, and supporting evidence in coordination with the court clerk and law enforcement officers.
• Appear at monthly municipal court sessions (typically held in the evening), as well as any scheduled pre-trial hearings or trials.
• Conduct pre-trial conferences and make plea recommendations in accordance with applicable laws and city policies.
• Prepare and submit motions, briefs, or other legal documents necessary to support prosecution efforts.
• Provide legal and procedural guidance to the court clerk or municipal judge, when appropriate.
• Always represent the city and the state in a professional and ethical manner.
