The Vendor is required to provide short-term rental registration and tax software will enable effective registration, tracking, and taxation of short-term rental properties within the county.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, enhance the county's ability to gather data on and manage short-term rentals, and generate additional revenue through the proper collection of occupancy taxes.
- Registration module:
• Allow property owners to register their short-term rental properties online.
• Enable property owners to provide all required information, including property addresses, owner details, contact information, and number of rentable units in the facility.
• Support document uploads for compliance verification (e.g., permits, insurance).
• Include a verification system to validate property details and owner identity.

• Automatically calculate applicable occupancy taxes based on current rates defined by the county.
• Allow for dynamic updates to tax rates as mandated by local legislation or county decisions.
