Annual Financial Audit Services

The vendor is required to provide annual financial audit services for community charter by reporting to the finance and audit committee and council on the city’s annual financial statements.
•    The city currently runs oracle’s enterprise one software which includes financials, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and work order systems; the finance department uses Hubble report writer and case ware working papers to prepare the city’s financial statements 
•    The city also runs city works is an asset management system that helps manage service requests, work orders, and inspections on assets. 
•    Integration between and city works allows for data sharing between the two programs.
•    The city runs a pc-based client and server MS windows network, which is used for the city’s intranet, its land-based systems from tempest development corporation (including property taxes, utilities, point of sale, permitting and invoicing, parking tickets, business licenses, calls for services, etc.); Prospero is a module within tempest used for invoicing.
•    Questica application is used for the development and management of the capital expenditure program. 
•    Progress reviews are completed in the system at a frequency of 2 per year. budget approved in this system is exported to populate the system
•     The community services areas use event business management system (EBMS) and the tempest POS software, all operating on the MS windows servers;
•    Enforcement and permitting of downtown and off-street and on-street parking use the hotspot, Ventek international system and the tempest pos. tempest is also used to manage and create tickets.
•    Community services aquatic’s department uses the perfect mind booking system which has an independent POS system from the tempest POS software. 
•    Perfect mind is a cloud-based software as a service system (SaaS).
- Budget is approximately $195 million with an additional capital budget of $56 million.
