The Vendor is required to provide for premium audit services.
- The premium audit services contract shall consist of workers’ compensation and disability benefits insurance premium audits, specifically within and outside of state.
- The audit agency will receive referrals of workers’ compensation and disability benefits insurance premium accounts both within and outside state.
- The audit agency will perform the audits in a professional manner and follow agency authorized forms, rules, procedures, and regulations.
- Category a - an onsite visit to the policyholder’s place of business or a location designated by the policyholder (e. G. Policyholder’s accountant’s office), in conjunction with the examination of the policyholder’s accounting and related records (e. G. Contracts and invoices for contractors).
- Category b- a remote audit using records uploaded to the audit agency’s secure site.
- The audit agency shall not receive payment for simply making an audit appointment.
- The audit agency must advise agency, upon the assignment of the audit, of the audit agency’s inability to supply an auditor with the required educational background.
- Audits must include an examination of the payroll records, general ledger, disbursements, vouchers, contracts, tax reports and any other business records with the person in possession of such records.
