Accounting Services

The vendor is required to provide to assist cable television (CATV) by providing accounting, auditing, reviewing, and analytical services relating to CATV’s regulatory authority duties, including but not limited to, matters involving cable television providers, public, educational, and governmental (PEG) access organizations, and other related entities.
- Accounting and auditing related services categories:
1. Accounting:
•    INSPECTING accounting systems; 
•    Reviewing accounting standards, policies, procedures, and requirements; 
•    Examining, analyzing, and interpreting accounting data, records, and reports; 
•    advising or assisting CATV on accounting, financial management, and policy matters; and 
•    Assisting CATV on matters and proceedings that are related to accounting services.
2. Auditing:
•    Analyzing work related to audit policies and programs; 
•    Conducting performance and inventory audits; 
•    Conducting activities related to the detection of financial fraud, waste, abuse, and non-compliance; and
•    Assisting CATV on matters and proceedings that are related to auditing services.
3. Review:
•    Inspecting materials;
•    Reviewing practices, policies, procedures, and requirements;
•    Examining, analyzing, and interpreting data, records, and reports; and
•    Advising or assisting CATV on matters and proceedings that are related to review services.
