Professional Audit Services

The Vendor is required to provide for the joint procurement of professional audit services.
- Conduct separate year-end audits for each agency annually in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards and the provisions of the Uniform Guidance and will provide professional advice and counsel as may be required throughout the year.
- It provides credible and timely planning, research, and analysis in areas such as economics, emergency management, housing, environmental education, water resources, and community engagement.
- The Authority is responsible for creating a fully integrated regional fiber network that connects employment areas, higher education, research institutions, and municipal facilities through in-creased broadband access, speed and capacity while driving down average end-user costs and reducing barriers to entry for innovative new companies wishing to invest in the region.
- Audit Execution
•    Conduct an independent audit of the Organization’s financial statements each fiscal year.
•    Perform the audit in full compliance with board, Uniform Guidance, and any other applicable federal, state, or local requirements.
- Work Product Deliverables
•    The selected firm will provide both draft and final versions of all work products, including:
•    The audited financial statements.
•    The results of the audit.
•    All required communications with the organization’s boards and management.
•    All materials delivered in PDF format as well as printed, bound copies.
- Funding Overview
•    The audit will encompass all funds and revenue sources received by the Organization.
•    The most recent audited financial statements should be consulted for a description of the types of funding received.
